Council Building

In a borough in the UK the Council’s former headquarters was sold in November 2014 and moved to new offices in September 2017. The move was made to help save money and ensure that services the council delivers can be protected. It will also help to improve access to public services where people need to speak to the council or other service providers.
 

North East Hospital

A facilities management company contracted to maintain and manage a large hospital had an issue when the heating in a treatment block went down. 21 areas were not serviceable which put pressure on the hospital not only in terms of patients but financially, NHS hospitals are subject to fines if not at full occupancy.
 
The two options were to either organise contractors to fix the wet-pipe system and boiler, or to source an alternative.

Heissen infrared industrial bar heaters were specified and fitted into one of UK’s largest timber manufacturers. The aim was to heat the warehouse and its employees as well offer frost-protection to machinery. This has been a key factor for this project because production time was being delayed during the winter due to breakdowns and failures.

Car Parts Manufacturer, North East

Infrared heating can be used in a wide variety of applications including educational establishments. In this case the project was a Victorian build with many issues including mould damp and cold spots. After some research into different heating systems the school came across the far infrared technology and they could see the benefits of looking at using this system, with it being a more effective cost solution in terms of both installation and running costs.
